Description
Yeoman's is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber frame and brick construction, topped with a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of two bays, along with a narrow brick extension to the south that extends to the rear as a wing. A central six-panelled door is set within a timber porch. The ground floor has canted bay windows, which rise to square bays on the first floor, each adorned with framed gables. There is a dormer window at the left end. The framing consists of two panels high on brick sills, with reverse curved corner braces. The framing was altered in the 19th century, and a 19th-century framed gable was added to the right side. Inside, there is a stop-chamfered spine beam in the left room, and a large stack, although the fireplace is blocked. The stack has been removed from the rear wall of the right bay. A timber-framed partition is located to the left of the entrance stair lobby.
