Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse from the mid to late 18th century, constructed of brick with a slate roof and a central flat lead section. The building is two stories high with attics and features a six-bay elevation, including a prominent low gabled bay that is slightly set forward. There are a pair of three-panelled doors set within a slender Tuscan portico. The windows are twelve-pane sashes, with the end bays being blind. To the left of the center bay, there is a plat band indicating an earlier section, and to the right, the ground floor has been altered to include one window on either side of the door, with gauged brick arches above. A radial semi-circular window is present in the moulded brick gable, and there are two gable dormers in the hipped roof. The side elevation features leaded lights in timber frames, and there is a brick porch. A large conservatory is attached to the right side of the building, facing the garden. The front garden is enclosed by low cast iron railings from the 19th century.
