Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house built in the late 18th century, with 20th-century extensions. It is constructed of brick and tile and features a symmetrical front (east) with two storeys and three windows. The roof is hipped, and the walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, with rubbed flat arches and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, and the entrance has a six-panelled door (two of which are glazed) in a plain frame, topped by a 20th-century canopy supported by 18th-century carved brackets. The other sides of the house display thin horizontal bands of flint, while the south elevation also includes vertical brick elements and cambered openings, sashes, and two French windows. The north elevation features a 20th-century brick porch with a hipped tile roof. The rear of the house is partly obscured by the 20th-century extension, which matches the original style.
