Description

The wall and outbuilding attached to the east side of the Manor House date from the 17th century and are constructed of ashlar. The wall, which is approximately 10 feet high, is located on the right-hand side of the Manor House's 17th-century wing. It features a moulded cornice and urns on top, with a round-headed recess to the right. Behind this wall, to the east, is a terrace that includes a small outbuilding, which is likely from the 18th century. The outbuilding is also made of ashlar and is a single storey, characterized by a plain cornice and a tall parapet with ball finials at the corners. It has two windows in square-headed openings with keystones, featuring nearly flush sash windows with glazing bars, and a modern glazed door to the right. This structure is part of a group of listed buildings in Whitehead's Lane, which includes Nos 15 to 17 Silver Street and Nos 1 to 4 and 7 and 8 White Hill.
