Description
This is an outbuilding and walls that enclose a courtyard at the rear of the Manor House, dating from the 17th century and later. The walls are made of rubble and stand approximately 10 feet high. The east wall features a tall, wide entry with a moulded surround and a 4-centred lintel, which may have been re-used from a fireplace. There are ball finials on top. In the north-east corner, there is a single-storey outbuilding. The north wall contains a doorway to the outbuilding with a chamfered 4-centred arch lintel, as well as a gateway with a depressed 4-centred arch lintel, which might also have been re-used from the house. The west wall has a gateway with a chamfered 4-centred arch lintel.
