Primary School and former Schoolmaster's house. Dated "Wellow/National/Schools/ 1852"; altered 1894. Ashlar; double Roman tiled roof; brick and ashlar stacks. Gothic; asymmetrical plan. Single storey central block with four 2-light casement windows, moulded mullions and surrounds. Plank door to right with 4-centred arch lintel under drip mould; similar door and opening in single storey porch to right. Gabled cross wing (hall) to left with three 2-light cross windows, all under drip moulds. To right attached former school masters house: gabled; 2 storeys; 2-light casement windows and door to left with similar details to main block.
