Description
This is probably an early 19th century building located on St Margaret’s Street. It is a two-storey structure with an ashlar facade and a prominent stringcourse. The roof is now covered with modern pantiles, and the raised gable ends have capping, kneelers, and chimneys at the ridge. The original sash windows have lost their glazing bars, although a large modern window has been inserted to the left. The building has a plinth. It is included on the list primarily for group value, alongside other buildings including The Three Horseshoes, Nos 1 to 4 Frome Road, the Liberal Club, The Baptist Chapel, the Congregational Church and Hall, Nos 6 to 16, 19 to 22, 36, 42 to 49, Westbury House, and No 1 St Margaret's Hill.
