This milestone, located 50 meters north-west of the Post Office on Zeals New Road, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of limestone and features a semi-circular top with a shaped cast iron plate that has raised lettering indicating the distances to Wincanton (5 miles) and Hindon (9 miles).
