Description

The Little House is a late 18th-century house located on Zeals New Road. It is built of painted rubble stone and features a tiled roof with a brick stack on the left side. The house is two storeys high and has three windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped with a pedimented canopy, with a two-light segmental-headed casement window on either side. On the first floor, there are three two-light segmental-headed casements. To the right of the main house, there is a single-storey outhouse that includes a two-light casement window and a 16-pane sash window, along with sliding double planked doors to the right. There are also single-storey extensions at the rear and a large tapered brick stack on the right. The building is included in the register primarily for its group value.
