Description

The Old Forge is a late 18th-century house located in Stourton Caundle. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a gable-ended tiled roof and end brick stacks. The house has two storeys and a three-window front. There are three-light casement windows with two panes of glass, each set under a concrete lintel. A 20th-century door is positioned under a moulded flat hood supported by shaped brackets. A 19th- or 20th-century outshut is located on the left-hand side.
