Description

The Congregational Chapel, formerly known as the Methodist Chapel, was built in 1859. It is constructed of squared, coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. The building has a gable-ended slate roof with stone coping and features a gabled front. On the front, there are two lancet windows with ashlar surrounds flanking a central doorway that has a two-centred head and continuous jambs with pyramid stops. Above the doorway is a quatrefoil.
