Description

Cromwell Cottage is a 17th-century house located on Village Street in Stourton Caundle. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a tiled roof with gabled ends and end stone stacks. It has an L-shaped plan with one gable facing the road and stands two storeys tall with irregular window arrangements. The windows are 20th-century casements that include horizontal glazing bars. Inside, there is a stop-chamfered beam and part of a plank and muntin partition.
