Description

Hobcraft House is a 17th-century house located on Main Street in Shalstone. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a tiled roof. The building has a central double-sided chimney stack made of thin bricks with three truncated square shafts set diagonally. The house is two storeys high and the south front has three bays, each with three-light wooden casements. There is a central lobby entry that is accessed through a 19th-century stone porch, which is rendered at the front and tiled. Additionally, there are modern porch extensions on both gable ends and a lean-to at the rear.
