Description
The Old Rectory is a house that was originally a rectory, built in the 18th century and altered and extended in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone with rendered gable ends and a rear wing. The roof is tiled with end stacks and features a concave eaves cornice. The building has two storeys and an attic.
The east front has three bays, featuring an early 19th-century conservatory with marginal glazing on the ground floor, sash windows on the first floor, and dormers. There is a single-storey extension to the right, which has chequered brickwork and a modern garage opening. On the south side, there are two 18th-century barred sash windows with architrave surrounds.
