Description

Shalstone House is a small country house dating from the early to mid-18th century, which was rendered in 1842. It features a hipped slate roof and has two storeys plus an attic with dormers. The building includes chamfered quoins, a band course at the first-floor cill level, a moulded cornice, and a parapet. The south front has six bays, while the entrance front has five bays with a central door that is framed by an architrave surround with a keyblock, carved consoles, and a pediment, which is obscured by a 19th-century Doric porch.
