Description

The Queens Oak Inn is a house of two distinct parts. The northern section likely dates from the early 18th century, while the southern section was probably built in the late 18th or early 19th century. The walls are of rubble construction, topped with a thatched roof. The south end has stone coping, and the chimney stacks are of brick to the north and ashlar to the south. The northern part is one-and-a-half storeys high, and the southern part is two storeys. The older north section features two-light casement windows, whereas the newer south section has 16-pane sash windows. A central thatched porch is built of brick. 20th-century extensions have been added to the left side and to the rear.
