Description

A pair of cottages dating from the 18th or early 19th century. They are built of whitewashed rubble with a thatched roof. Each cottage has two storeys and two bays, with doors and windows spaced irregularly. No. 9 High Street has a 20th-century tiled porch enclosing its entrance door. The windows are 19th-century. No. 1 Oak Lane has a glazed door at the rear, replacing what was formerly the front door and which is now a window. The roof is hipped and features a brick stack positioned off-centre at the top of the rear slope.
