Description

The Exton monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 10 metres south of the Church of St. Leonard. It commemorates Grace Exton, who died in 1750. The tomb is made of limestone and features two recessed moulded panels on its main sides, plain corner pilasters, and a moulded flat top. At the time of the survey in July 1985, the tomb was partly sunk into the ground.
