Description

An 18th-century cottage with attached outbuildings, now incorporated into a larger dwelling. The cottage is constructed of dressed limestone and has a thatched hipped roof, while the former outbuildings have a pantile roof. A brick stack is also present. The cottage is two storeys high and has one window. To the left of the cottage is a planked door. The ground floor of the cottage has a three-light casement window, and the first floor has a two-light leaded casement window. The converted outbuilding to the right has two 20th-century three-light casement windows. To the right of the cottage is a gabled cart entry with weatherboarded gable, and beyond it a single-storey outbuilding with a 20th-century three-light casement window. The rear of the building features a 20th-century flat-roofed extension and 20th-century casement windows. The cart entry has a two-bay queen post roof with curved bracing from the main post to the tie-beam. The interior was inaccessible during a survey in July 1985.
