Description
Great Chaddington Farm is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the 17th century. The building features a timber-framed section that has been rebuilt in stone and brick, topped with a thatched and stone slate roof. It has a three-bay core with an axial stack and a one-and-a-half bay framed rear extension that includes a stack in the half-bay. There is a 19th-century extension and a forward addition. The framing includes a heavy bressumer and straight corner braces. The exterior has 20th-century casement windows. Inside, the property has altered fireplaces and a heavy chamfered ceiling beam, with the framing of the exterior wall exposed within.
