Description
The stable range located immediately northwest of Great Chaddington Farm is a building used for stabling and farming, dating from the 18th to 19th century. It features a stone gable and is constructed with timber framing and weatherboarding, topped with a hipped thatched roof. The stable consists of four bays, with an additional two-bay extension to the east. Inside, there are tie beams supported by intermediate 20th-century cross-braced trusses, and the end tie is reinforced with a long curved brace. The building includes stable doors and carthouse doors leading to a higher section.
