Ashton Field Farmhouse (Cotswold Community)

Ashton Field Farmhouse, now a house, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features two storeys and attics. The building has three plus one bays, with the three central bays being symmetrical and a central door that now has a conservatory attached. The original timber casement windows have replaced leaded timber windows, and the ground floor windows were changed around 1939. The fourth bay originally housed the kitchen behind a major stack, and there are gable stacks present. The roof is a gambrel style with three hipped dormers. A parallel rear block was added between 1936 and 1942, but it is not of special interest. There is also an L-plan single storey rear wing on the right.
