Description
The Rudman monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 7 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary in Broughton Gifford. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The monument features a plinth and two panels with painted decoration, along with carved drapery in the center. It has a cavetto fluted frieze leading to a flat top made of sandstone. The inscription commemorates the Rudman family, with the earliest date recorded as 1803.
