Description

The lamp standard at Manton House is a 19th-century piece made by Coalbrookdale Works. It is constructed from cast iron and features a tall fluted standard with a moulded base and plinth. The standard is adorned with elaborately cast four-way brackets and has a tapered lantern on top. Although it is likely not in its original location, it has been in place since around 1900.
