Description

The Villa is an early to mid 19th century villa constructed of red brick, featuring a slate hipped roof with stacks on the side ridges. It has a square plan with a south-east extension and stands two storeys tall. The front has three windows, originally consisting of 16-pane sashes on each side, a 12-pane sash in the center on the first floor, and a 6-panel door with a blind fanlight set in an arched surround with stone imposts. The ground floor sashes have been altered. The Villa is part of a group that includes Newton House and Blaxhall House, although it was likely built slightly later than these other properties.
