Description
Westfield House and Westfield Lodge is an early to mid-19th century villa that stands two storeys high and features five windows, along with an added, set-back right bay. The building is constructed of red brick and has a low-pitched hipped slate roof. Notable stone dressings include a plinth, a first-floor band, ground floor cills and apron panels, and a complete central bay made of rusticated ashlar with a guilloche moulded border. Flanking the first-floor windows are pilasters with consoles. There is a prostyle Ionic porch that is accessed by four stone steps. The sash windows have gauged flat brick arches, and original shutters are still present inside. The entrance door consists of two long panels topped with a plain fanlight.
