Description
Hatfield Villa is an early 19th century two-storey, three-window villa located on the north side of Hatfield Street. The villa is constructed of coursed, tooled squared stone, with a low-pitched stone flagged roof. Two end chimneys have been rebuilt, and an original chimney remains at the rear. The roof features paired brackets to the eaves, and a box gutter. The sash windows have replaced stone lintels and slightly projecting cills. The central door is topped by a stone pedimented hood supported on console brackets, and is accessed via a damaged, later trellis porch. The building was empty and boarded up at the time of survey.
