Description

Newton House is an early 19th-century villa of red brick with a slate hipped roof. It has a brick chimney stack on the west side and another on the side ridge. The building is square, with a three-window front. The windows are 16-pane sashes, and the central entrance has a six-panel door beneath a metal-traceried fanlight, recessed within a round-arched surround. Windows have slightly cambered brick heads. Newton House stands within a group that includes Blaxhall House and The Villa.
