Description
This is a house, likely dating back to the 17th century or earlier, that was remodelled in the early 19th century. It has walls of roughcast and a low-pitched, slated roof with hips at each end. Two large rendered chimneys with tapered caps stand at each end of the rear wall. The original layout probably included two rooms with a cross-passage situated off-centre to the left. The house is two storeys high and has three windows across the front. A late 20th-century plank door, complete with ornamental strap-hinges and a matching pent-roofed wooden canopy, is centrally positioned. To either side of the door are two small wood casement windows, each with two panes of glass. Above these is a larger matching casement window. At each end of the front, on both storeys, are three-light wood casement windows, each with eight panes of glass. A small two-light wood casement window with two panes of glass is located at the far end of the ground floor.
