Description

Numbers 103 (April Cottage), 105, and 107 are a house that has been subdivided and possibly extended. The building dates from the 17th century or earlier and was remodeled in the early to mid-19th century. It features solid rendered walls and has slated roofs with three different ridge heights. There is a large rendered chimney on the front wall of No. 105 and rendered chimneys on each end wall of the terrace.

The structure is two storeys high and six windows wide. No. 103 has two windows on each storey with a doorway at the left-hand end, featuring a late 20th-century half-glazed door. The small-paned sash windows have six over six panes, except for the left-hand ground storey window, which has four over four panes. No. 105 has a four-paned sash window to the left on the ground storey and a deeply recessed late 20th-century glazed door to the right. The upper storey has three narrow windows with barred sashes, with four over four panes in the left window and two over two panes in the others. No. 107 has a late 20th-century wooden door to the right and sash windows with four over four panes to the left of each storey. The wall face of No. 103 projects slightly, and there is a ragged joint where it meets No. 105. The interior has not been inspected, but it is likely to contain early features.
