Description

This is a block of three houses, likely dating from the 17th century but substantially remodelled in the early 19th century. The houses are built with solid roughcast walls and have a slate roof, with rendered chimneys on the right end wall and two more on the rear wing. They are arranged in a single range, with the middle house featuring a prominent bowed front. A long rear wing extends to the right, incorporating several different building styles.

The houses are two storeys high with three windows on the front elevation, and a fourth window added in the 20th century as a wood casement. Other windows have wooden frames and transom lights. A gabled, 20th-century porch is attached to the bowed front. The right end wall features a two-storey wooden bay window with a lean-to roof. French windows are on the ground floor, each leaf with three panes and a moulded panel at the bottom. The upper-storey windows are sashes with a single horizontal glazing bar. A round-arched doorway on the right has a flat archivolt with plain imposts and a keystone; it contains a six-panelled door with the top two panels glazed, and a fanlight with radial bars.
