Description

This lime kiln, located at SX 9197 5583 in Lower Brixham, is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and features a wedge-shaped design with a triangular opening that faces New Road. The kiln is depicted on the 1838 Brixham tithe map.
