Manor Farmhouse

Manor Farmhouse is an early 18th-century building situated on an older site, with alterations likely made in the mid-19th century. The farmhouse features a two and a half storey red brick front, constructed from rubble, with brick quoins and original brick quoins around the windows on the ground floor to the right of the centre. There is a brick band above the ground floor and a coved and moulded eaves cornice. The slate roof has gable end chimneys and a central gabled dormer. Currently, there are three windows on each floor, of the cross mullion type, although it originally had five windows, with black headers visible in the bricked-in panels. An obscured date tablet is located on the first floor to the right of the centre, and the door is positioned off-centre to the left. At the rear, there is a large external chimney stack attached to a single storey extension, along with a brick buttress added to the left side. The interior has been altered, featuring a flagged passage leading to the hall, and traces of moulding can be seen on the ceiling cornice in the front room to the right.
