Description
The former Vicarage is a very early 18th-century building that has been altered. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of rendered rubble, although the front is said to be brick, likely from the early to mid-19th century for the second floor. The rear part may incorporate an older building. The structure features chamfered quoins on the ground and first floors and has a hipped slate roof with brick side chimneys. Originally, it had a two-storey front with five windows, but the later second floor now has only four windows, which are two-light casements. Below these, there are two-light chamfered long mullion windows. The central doorway has a chamfered surround and a chamfered mullioned transom-light above it. This design is similar to that of Yewtree Farmhouse in Hannington Wick.
