Description
Elcombe House Farmhouse is an early to mid 19th century building that may incorporate older elements, particularly noticeable in the stair turret. The farmhouse is two and a half storeys tall and has a rendered exterior. It features a hipped roof made of slate and stone tiles, with two dormers on the south side. The south elevation has three windows, with the outer ones being tripartite glazing bar sashes. There is a central gabled porch and a brick cogged eaves cornice. The east front consists of a long two and a half storey, three bay wing that includes two tripartite windows on the first floor along with a door. At the rear, there is a hipped stair turret that has two storey glazing bar sash windows and an elegant staircase inside.
