Description

This cottage, located to the west of Greenaways in Castle Eaton, dates from around 1700. It is two and a half storeys high, constructed of rubble with bands of dressed ashlar. The roof is covered with Bradstone tiles and features two brick chimneys and a gabled dormer. The building has two bays plus one, with wooden lintels above modern cross casement windows. The first floor of the right-hand bay is blind. The main entrance door is centrally positioned and has four flush panels along with a weatherhood. To the left, there is a slightly set back brick extension.
