Description

Nos 3 and 4 on The Street in Castle Eaton are likely from the 18th century. The building is two storeys high and constructed from rubble with rough dressed quoins. It features a stone slate roof with three brick chimneys and has moulded plinths. The windows are irregular 3-light casements with wooden lintels, with four on the first floor and three on the ground floor. There are two ledged doors, and No 3 has a panel above a blocked door to the left, which may have once been a datestone.
