Description

The barn at Fresden Farm was rebuilt in 1937 and features a timber frame set on a stone footing, with weatherboarding and a stone tile roof. It has a cross wing at the north end, which includes mansarded windows on the ends. Inside, the barn is constructed from re-used timbers and consists of seven bays, supported by queen post trusses that have two collars and windbraces. The braces are also made from the posts.
