Description
Fresden Farm Cottage is a mid-19th century Gothic-style building. It is asymmetrical and constructed of rubble, featuring an 'L' plan layout. The cottage has two storeys and three bays on the east side, with a gabled break to the right and two gables over dormers to the left. A central gabled porch projects from the front and has a pointed doorway. The roof is covered with stone tiles and has coped gables, along with a large off-ridge chimney and two additional chimneys. The west front includes a gabled break to the left and irregularly placed windows to the right. There is a walled garden that faces the road. The building may have originally served as two workmen's cottages.
