Description
The milepost located about 250 yards east of Wicksted Farmhouse dates from the early 19th century. It is a standard local type with a rounded face, although the lettering is now obscured. The milepost formerly indicated the distances to Highworth as 1 mile and Faringdon as 5 miles.
