Description

Grove Farmhouse is a circa 1781 farmhouse, originally in an "L" shape. It was altered in the mid-19th century. The farmhouse is two storeys with attics and is constructed of rubble with a stone tile hipped roof. A plinth runs along the base. The west front has four windows and brick quoins, with modern casement windows. The south front has a range of windows, with a tripartite window on the ground floor and modern windows on the first floor; this facade has been rendered. Further extensions were added to the east. Lead guttering was formerly dated "T.M.1781". A brick and stone stable, located to the north-east, is dated 'WA 1816'.
