Description

Haydon Farmhouse is an early 18th-century building, with later alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is a two-storey structure built of rubble, with a brick gable facing east. The roof is covered with corrugated iron, replacing stone tiles installed in 1926. Gable end chimneys are present. The first floor has two windows: a mid-19th century window to the left and a 3-light 18th-century window to the right, both with modern casements. The ground floor has three windows; a 4-light mullion window, possibly stone, is situated to the right. A door was blocked to the left of centre. An irregular 'L' shaped extension to the rear incorporates the house entrance in its angle. The interior has been altered.
