Description

Chapel Farmhouse is an 18th-century building that was altered in the mid to late 19th century. It stands two storeys high and features a square hipped roof covered with modern tiles. The exterior is made of painted rubble with ashlar quoins. On the first floor, there are five windows that are glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. The ground floor has two mid-19th century bays with cross-glazed sashes and a central gabled porch. There is a side chimney and a lower two-storey extension to the right. The farmhouse is named after a Chapel of Ease of Cricklade St Sampson's, with the ruins of this structure reportedly incorporated into the farmyard to the south.
