Description
Upper Widhill Farmhouse is a late 17th century to early 18th century building that stands two storeys high, constructed of rubble with a stone tile roof. The main part of the farmhouse, which faces south, features one bay on the left and three bays on the right. The first floor has three windows, while the ground floor has two windows that retain their original mullions, although others have been altered. The ground floor windows have flat arches above them, dating from the early to mid-19th century. To the right, there is a window extension with brick quoins and dressings, and the ground floor retains a three-light glazing bar casement. The farmhouse has three brick ridge chimneys. A modern glazed porch with a half-glazed door has been added, and there is a two-storey extension at the rear with a catslide roof that engulfs the gable of the 'T' section chimney.
