Description

Fowler’s Farmhouse is an 18th-century building of 'L' shape and two storeys, with roughcast rendering. It has one and two windows, featuring glazing bar sash windows. The roof is covered with stone tiles, and there are two ridge chimneys. A 19th-century gabled porch, decorated with carved trelliswork, is located to the left of the centre of the front facade, and there is a dormer window in the gable. Attached to the east side is a mid-19th century granary constructed of red brick, with a stone tile half-hipped roof and black headers to the gable end. The building holds group value as an example of an 18th-century farmhouse with later agricultural additions.
