Description

An 18th-century farmhouse with a later attached outbuilding, now incorporated into a larger house. The farmhouse is constructed of rubble with limestone dressings, and has been colour-washed. It has a greenslate roof with stone ridge, copings, and kneelers. The original farmhouse has two storeys and three windows, featuring 19th-century sash windows with vertical glazing bars. A central, wide-gabled porch provides cover for an 8-panelled door. There are chimneys at each end of the building. The attached outbuilding has waggon doors within a segmental-arched opening defined by limestone voussoirs, along with a boarded door to the left and a 20th-century door to the left of that. A top-glazed door is located to the right of the waggon doors, all under dressed limestone lintels. The upper floor of the outbuilding has three 20th-century windows, and a finial sits atop the right-hand gable. The outbuilding is included in the listing due to its group value.
