Description

No 22 on High Street is an 18th-century building that stands two and a half storeys tall. It features a painted facade with chamfered stone quoins and a slate roof. The building has two dormers, each with segmental headed cornices and leaded casements. To the right, there is an ashlar gable end chimney with moulded capping. The front has three windows, which are glazing bar sashes with raised, eared architraves and bullnosed cills. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window and an early 20th-century projecting shop front supported by brackets. The central door leads into the house. At the rear, there is a long two-storey extension with a stone-tiled roof.
