Description

No. 17 High Street is a building from the 1880s that features a refaced Georgian-style facade. It is constructed of brick with a band above the first floor and has a tiled roof with coved eaves cornice. The building has chamfered stone quoins and stands three storeys tall. It includes one window with sashes that have segmental heads and keystones, as well as rubbed brick arches and an apron below the second-floor window. The shop front projects and has a moulded hood with a central break supported by brackets for the doorway. At the rear, there is a two and a half storey rubble extension.
