Description

No 2 on Cricklade Road is an 18th-century building located on the north side of Highworth. It has two and a half storeys and is constructed of painted rubble with a stone tile roof. The building features gable end brick chimneys and two gabled dormers. There are four ranges of plate glass sash windows, with segmental heads on the ground floor that are adorned with brick arches. The entrance is from Cricklade Road, featuring a six-panel door positioned at an angle with a two-storey extension that has first-floor casement windows. Additionally, there is a porthole window in the south gable and a further two-storey extension at the rear that connects to a single-storey extension projecting towards Cricklade Road.
