Description
Number 6 Castle Street is an 18th-century building that has undergone some alterations in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The exterior features roughcast render and a plain tile roof, with no chimney stack. The structure is two storeys tall with an attic and has two windows on the front. To the right, there is a two-storey canted bay window that has a cornice and a flat roof. The first floor of this bay has late 19th or early 20th-century casement windows, while the ground floor has fixed glazing. On the left side of the first floor, there is a glazing bar sash window with a flush moulded frame. The entrance door, located on the left, has a narrow moulded frame and a cambered hood supported by brackets. The door itself is a six-panelled design with the top two panels glazed. Next to the entrance door to number 6, there is an entrance door to number 8, which features a plain tiled hipped canopy from the 19th century on brackets and a heavy nine-panelled door.
